This section outlines the steps to export timesheet data from Connecteam and upload it to QuickBooks Desktop. The following steps are specifically regarding QuickBooks Desktop and not for the QuickBooks Online version of the accounting platform.
- Click on Export and then click on Discover Integrations.
- Open the time clock integration settings tab and click on Set Up QuickBooks Desktop.
- Rename the report as needed.
- Set Up the Job:
- Select the fields in QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) that relate to your Job and Sub-job in Connecteam.
- If Sub-jobs are not configured, match only the Job in Connecteam.
- Optionally, choose not to include Job and/or Sub-job in the export.
- Make sure the names for Regular Rate and Overtime rates (multipliers of 1.5X and 2X) match exactly with the names in your QBD account.
- Select the desired paid time off (PTO) policies to be marked as sick leave. Ensure names match with the QBD account.
- Assign existing Time Off Policies not marked as sick leave as PTO hours. Confirm that names match with the QBD account. Indicate if the time is billable to a customer or project. Leave it unchecked if not applicable.
- Make Sure to Save Changes.

- Go to the time clock, select the timesheets tab, and click on export.
- Click on export to QuickBooks Desktop.
