Creating a Blog Site within SharePoint
1. Click on Site Settings, and click on Create.
2. Under Web Pages, click on Sites and Workspaces.
3. In the New SharePoint Site page, complete all the form fields and make sure you select Blog under Select a template.
4. Click on Create. Your new Blog site was successfully created.
NOTE: The best way to do this is to ensure that you select Blog while creating the SharePoint Site from the Control Panel.
