Network Maintenance by Vendor:

We would like to inform you that one of our bandwidth provider is performing a network maintenance activity on 10th April.

Due to the nature of the work carried out by the vendor, there may be minor interruptions for a brief period of time.  Please note that these interruptions will be in form of dis-connectivity.  The servers/cloud desktops and its services will be up all the time.  These brief interruptions or dis-connectivity is expected to sporadic in nature while the vendor carries out the tasks. Our fail-over mechanism is in place. However, there will be a flicker in service while switching the bandwidth.

The task will be carried out by the vendor during the following time frame:

Start time: 10:00 pm Eastern 04/10/2019

End time:   06:00 am Eastern 04/11/2019

The interruptions will be brief and sporadic in nature and are not expected to last for more than 15 minutes.

As a valued customer, Cogent is committed to keeping you informed about any changes in the status of your service with us. This email is to alert you regarding maintenance we will be performing on our network:

Start time: 10:00 pm eastern 04/10/2019

End time: 6:00 am eastern 04/11/2019

Expected Outage/Downtime: 15 Minutes downtime is possible

Cogent customers receiving service at the metro ring your services rides in North Bergen, NJ and Carlstadt, NJ will be affected by this maintenance. Only the Cogent Order ID(s) listed above will be impacted. The purpose of this work is convert metro transport system.

During this maintenance window, you will experience one or more brief interruptions in service while we complete the maintenance activities; the interruptions are expected to last less than 15 Minutes downtime is possible total. However, due to the complexity of the work, your downtime may be longer. Customers may also see some reconvergence during the maintenance window.

Our network operations engineers closely monitor the work and will do everything possible to minimize any inconvenience to you.
