Syncing up Samsung Epix with Hosted Microsoft Exchange Server

To setup an Microsoft Exchange email account on Samsung Epix, use the steps below:
- From the Today screen, press the Start key or tap on Start, located in the top left corner
- Tap on Programs
- Tap on the Activesync icon
- Tap on Menu or press the right soft key for Menu
- Tap on Add Server Source
- Enter the E-mail address
- You can leave the box checked to “attempt to detect exchange server settings automatically” and allow the device to attempt to find your exchange server settings and tap on next. Leaving the box checked will allow the device to detect exchange server settings automatically the handset will populate your user name, proceed to step #9. If you choose to uncheck the box and enter the settings manually then proceed to step # 10.
- Enter the server address (This is the same as your Outlook Web Access server address
- Leave the box checked or uncheck the box depending on your server configuration for “The server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection. Tap on next
- Enter the user name
- Enter the Password
- Enter the Domain
- The choice to Save Password is optional, however the box is required to be checked for automatic sync
- Tap on next
- Check the boxes for the conduits you would like to sync then tap on finish
